bskycheck is an independent project: no company, no sponsor. Thousands of people use the tools every day, and the servers, the Bluesky data feeds and the development are paid out of pocket. Here is how you can help keep it running.

bskycheck runs on servers, and the developer runs on coffee. Pick your cup, and keep both going every month.
Every cup also makes you a bskycheck member: no ads, 20 tool checks a day and every extra in the tools (the full moderation report, the full audience quality report, the whole follower list, bot detection factors, engagement tips). Just write your Bluesky handle, like @yourname.bsky.social, in the Ko-fi message: it switches on by itself, usually within a minute.

Privacy & data collection
- No account needed. Every tool works without logging in, and nothing about you, the visitor, is stored, except an unreadable counter of today's tool checks (a daily-changing fingerprint of your IP address, never the address itself), deleted after 2 days.
- Logging in is optional. It uses Bluesky's own login: we never see your password and cannot post, follow or read anything private. We keep your public Bluesky identity (identifier, handle, display name, avatar), your plan and your preferences (color theme, pre-filled handle). No email address. You can delete your account at any time from the account page.
- Payments go through Ko-fi. We never see card or bank details. We keep the Ko-fi record (name, message, tier, amount), never your email or postal address: only a one-way fingerprint of the email, to recognise your monthly renewals.
- Ads. Visitors who are not logged in may see Google ads; in Europe, advertising cookies are only used with your consent. Logged-in visitors never see ads.
- Cookies. One login cookie, only if you log in; Google's cookies for anonymous visit statistics and, for visitors who are not logged in, ads. Your color theme is remembered in your browser.
- Public Bluesky data. The tools read public data on demand and don't keep the results, except the Follower Tracker's follower lists and a daily snapshot of the public numbers shown by the profile tool and the Label Checker (kept 12 months), to show what changed since the last check.
